Young footballers are wanted to join a popular team in Whiteley.
Whiteley Wanderers FC are appealing to parents of children in Year 1 and reception in September to join their Under 6 age group football team.
Whiteley Wanderers Youth are one of 17 Community Charter Standard Clubs in Hampshire out of 290 affiliated to the County FA.
The Club was recently awarded Charter Standard Community Club of the year for 2012-13 season by the County FA and Mid Solent Youth Football League Club of the year for 2013.
Since the club was founded in 1998 with one team, there are now 23 teams.
Training will begin for the Under 6 team from 8.45am to 10am on Saturdays at Whiteley Primary School Astro turf pitch.
The sessions aim to introduce and develop football skills in a welcoming and fun environment, open to boys and girls.
Run by qualified coaches Stuart Carpenter and Steve Davies the club are also appealing to any parents who are interested in helping coach or assist in some way with this age group.
