A telecoms company based in Sarisbury Green has celebrated its 10th anniversary by presenting a new telephone system to a company helps charities in the south.

Linked Up, which specialises in organising events and fundraising activities for charities from their base in Southsea, won the prize, and Fareham MP Mark Hoban was on hand to hand it over.

Lee Scott, Accountant for Linked Up, said “This prize is fantastic and a great opportunity for us to expand.  We have 30 events to manage from now until next February. Our business is quite unique, we make money for charity.”

Paul Clift, managing director of Working Telecoms, said: “We are in our best year ever. We have just won our biggest contract for £750,000, spread out over the next five years.”

MP Mark Hoban joined Working Telecoms to celebrate with them.

“I’m very keen to support local businesses,” said Mr Hoban. “This is cutting edge technology and it’s a great idea to offer it to a  company like Linked Up.”
