A giant game of Pass the Parcel and a huge birthday banner at the Locks Heath Shopping Village will be part of its celebration of trading for 30 years.
The centre will be hosting a special birthday party to celebrate the milestone achievement on Saturday June 8 at which will be revealed the hanging five-metre long banner of art work by students from eight schools in the area.
From 11am to 4pm there will also be a selection of exciting craft and produce stalls to entice shoppers and the Locks Heath butcher will also be manning a barbecue.
Pass the Parcel will start at 12.30pm, with some great prizes on offer for customers.
Retailers will also be celebrating with many of them having themed offers – such as discounts from 30 per cent off and the first 30 customers to receive free gifts.
Ian Goodridge, Centre Manager of Locks Heath Shopping Village, said: “There’s a real sense of excitement in the run up to our birthday celebrations and we have a host of activities for our shoppers to get involved with.
“In such hard economic times it is encouraging to be doing so well and to have such positive news. This is the perfect time for shoppers to discover all that Locks Heath Shopping Village has to offer.”
