Swimmers and parents dived into doing something funny for money for Comic Relief.

Locks Heath Swim Squad swapped their gruelling training session for a fun fundraising evening for Red Nose Day – and even got their parents involved.

They raised more than £100 to help less fortunate children and adults abroad.

Spectators crammed around the poolside at the Warsash Road venue and supported the cause by buying cakes and biscuits made by club members.

The evening consisted of a mixed relays, sprint races and water polo.

There was laughter and excitement had by all during the games and fun. Head Coach Lynda Reid said: “I managed to evade being pushed in the water despite their best efforts. It was great fun for everyone.”
