Students and staff across the Western Wards are being invited by Diabetes UK to take part in this year’s Mad March Hair Day.
Wear a wacky hair do or wig to school for a day during March while raising cash for the charity which supports 3.7million people across the UK who have diabetes.
Educational information will be provided for each school or college across the south that takes part to explain diabetes to young people.
Liz Thornton, Diabetes UK South East Fundraising Manager, said: “Mad March Hair Day is a fantastic way for schools and colleges in the South East to raise money for Diabetes UK, so that we can continue our work caring for people with diabetes, connecting them to the vital services they need and campaigning on their behalf.”
