Results from a survey about the controversial Yew Tre Drive bollards in Whiteley are likely to be published in March.
Residents gave their views on whether the electronic bollards in Yew Tree Drive should remain for use of emergency services and buses or for use for the public on a six-month trial basis.
A total of 2,665 people from Whiteley, Park Gate, Swanwick and Burridge had their say in the survey.
Councillor Sean Woodward, who represents the Sarisbury ward of Whiteley, said the results were currently being collated by Hampshire County Council officers and could be published in a report in “a month”.
Councillors will then have to decide at a later date if the go-ahead should be given for a six-month trial for the bollards to be lowered starting from June.
The bollards are currently still down while Fareham Borough Council awaits assurances from South Coast Ambulance Service about the ability of all its crews to be able to use the route in the event of an emergency.
